the bootleg promos are awesome. great catch simo. and the german gorge promo set is also very impressive.

WOW! the boot samplers are great!

Also, I have heard a bit more about the polish singles.
They are 7" singles.
One song per single, and they look like a postcard.
I will receive Blood soon, and it has a picture of some dog on it I think haha.

In Poland they were released to promote the band.
They did this with other bands as well.
You could say they are "official", since they were pressed to use these to promote the band, and available in "official" record stores.
But then of course, it's Poland. Lot's of bootleg stuff comes from there.
I heard there are postcard singles from the Ten and VS period, and about 15 different singles excist.
I will send scans when I receive the first one.

7" Polish Postcard single for Blood.
I have a deal with a guy. He will send me these Polish Postcard singles whenever he can get them from a "friend".
So, these coming months I will receive some different versions.
I have no idea how they look etc.
I will receive the first one soon!

In the past years I saw several of this postcard also for the Queen, Beatles, etc... I don't know if this stuffs are official

I'm always careful with things from Poland.

Yeah, those polish efforts can be tricky as far as being genuine, its difficult to tell as they tend to always be acetates, and the ebay sellers often dont have a clue.

Plus the prices are always sky high.....and very rarely an auction, always buy it now -m therefore its hard to ever work out the proper market value.

Yes, I agree about the "genuine" thing.
But I figured these look pretty funny, and since there is a chance for me to collect them all, I would give it a go. I remember reading somewhere Mike from Pearl Jam receiving one of these, and he loved it.
Also, since they don't pop up that often on ebay etc. , it would be nice to collect them while I have the chance.
