10C Newsletters - Who Collects Them? Is there a DB?

Postby southp » Mon Jul 19, 2010 9:12 pm

I was wondering if there is a more complete collection of all the 10C newsletters.
I've only seen this one:

http://www.xs4all.nl/~groenf/newsletter.html

Side note, what do you collectors do with your newsletters? I've got every one since #4 1993 just sitting in a box. Must be a better way to display or store them. Any ideas?

I have to admit that I just put them in a box into a cupboard. They are not so special to me.

Is it true that the first Newsletter was mailed to fans in 1991 as an insert in the Alive promo cassette?
So is that means I buy a sealed one it comes inside the cassette?

There are two different notes from Jeff. There is one printed on the card of the cassette, and another I guess was a piece of paper:

Is there a site still kicking that has the list and pictures of all the 10c newsletters? Looking for it.

Also wondering what some fair prices would be for some of these. Looking to thicken my collection but myself and the guy I'm talking to don't really know the value of these. In particular, I'm looking at #7-#16.

Any help would be great.

So I scanned my 10c newsletters and put them into an album so they were a bit easier to find for anyone who's looking for references. Once I get the rest of the ones I need, I'll make more scans of some of the order inserts, renewal letters and maybe all the pages from inside the newsletters and save them as PDF's. We'll see...
