sorry Vic, my mistake, things like Promo photos, the doormat, the stuffed dog, the vitalogy ring binder, the little Jar, the green basketball etc etc

Official promo items given away with the music releases?

We talked long ago about this...

It's very difficult to compose a menu or category/subcategories estructure for promo items... Being honest... what must be cosidered an "oficcial promo item"???...

Make here your suggestions, now we have (for example) CDAlbum --> Vitalogy --> DETAIL...

The original project was a big site in two parts, one with the full discography and another part with all the official items released by band/epic etc.. a sorta of Pearl Jam Virtual Museum with all the original cd/vinyl/promo stuffs etc...

Im sure we can re-organize the site again... and build a new part with the Virtual Museum

I will find the old post where we discussed how to do it.

I think all these memorabilia like promo photos, doormat, ... should be shown in the PJVM and not on PJC. To me PJC should stand for recordings only. It's also very difficult to categorize these items nad like Vic said "what is official"?

But what add to PJC is that we can build our own collection from the databse like Expressobeans. Each collector can list his collection. That would be cool but I don't have any internet skills. So it's up to you Vic. ;)

the bit about EB i totally agree with Norman, I really like that idea, but like you I'm not so hot on the internet site building...

I know many people do not want a value function adding, fearing that would make people more aware of the value of things and take away the potential for bargains

100% with Norman!!!

pjcoll must remain a discography site...(and we need still a lot of items to complete it..)
Mention this to me

Dave there are so many cool PJ items out there I think they should be added in their own subsection. That wouldnt hurt anything and would just make the library more complete, after all this is a Pearl Jam Collectors site 'the most extensive overall view of Official Pearl jam items in the www'......

Not sure why it has to be a discography thats all?? are we not trying to be completist in terms of Pj collecting?
