Received a Japanese Promo Lightning Bolt CD. Which is pretty much the US issue CD with extra Japan booklet & obi with numbered promo sticker on back.

every time i see a 'give way' i die a little inside. i worked at a best buy store in the music/movies/software department when these were to come out. we had them in store a week or two before the sale was supposed to happen. being a pearl jam fan, i was plenty excited, and had already put my copy aside. whenever i was working in the back warehouse, doing sorting or labeling or anything like that, i'd put the disc on and listen. i felt so special, getting to listen to this before anyone else! a day or two before the sale was supposed to happen, my supervisor finds me at the start of my shift and tells me i need to give her my cd, they're all being recalled and will be destroyed, and we need to have all units accounted for otherwise we're in deep shit. so i go grab my stored away disc and hand it over. and that, my friends, was the last time i ever saw one with my own two eyes. :cry:
