this is not enough
ok i woun't ask you anything more and anything more on pm but i think all of us should think about the items we put on pjc ...i mean together

Don't worry Frank, that was just a joke. ;)

But in all seriousness, you are absolutely right to question the authenticity of new items. I must say that I was a bit surprised that the ongoing discussion of the Blue Fixer led to the conclusion that it was a fake. From the first appearance of this issue (on the official PJ forum I believe) to the shocking light blue colored one on eBay, all the evidence points to this being a private release similar to the ITW Picture LP. The "run-out etchings" on the White (regular & test pressing), Orange and Blue Fixer singles are all identical. The same is true of the Black (regular & test pressing) and White Backspacer LPs. I'll do my best to take some pictures and scans that demonstrate this.

we didn't say that
we only agree that we have no prove of beeing a legit release
and i think that "run-out etchings" isn't a prove cause i can do the same thing for a red fixer and copy the orange etching
remember the save you and man of the hour singles

i think it will be discover that it is a legit edition but we haven't prove yet

Sam,

Great job, your collections continues to amaze me! On a side not, what is the above mentioned "c" backspacer? I have no idea what this is!

This morning I just received positive confirmation from a URP representative that they did indeed press The Fixer in white and "mixed blue" vinyl. 8-)

And during my search I came across some very interesting links:

Sam,

Did you ask the representative how many "mixed blue" ones were pressed? I don't even know if they are allowed to give out that kind of information!

I asked but this was their reply:

Great Paul!!!
I'm still waiting for the empty box as i bought all the boots immediately after release! I cannot understand how you manage to wait for the release of the whole box! I'm soooo impatient!!! I know it would be cheaper to wait, but what can i say: it happened again with the 2010 boots! So now i'm waiting for two empty boxes..

dont think you can get the box for the 2009 boots only if you bought it as a whole..
