I have some other official tapes from this country and are also from Thonsum Electronics.

Seems this company produces tapes there.

Yours looks pretty like a bootleg. Similar to some Polish bootleg tapes.

Thanks Norman for confirming Megastar is from Saudi Arabia! I have this dilapidated TEN Cassette for years:

I also think that the only official tapes down there, were issued by "Megastar" company (licensed by Sony).
Something similar to "Gallo" company's tapes from South Africa.

Great tape by the way! The more dilapidated, the more cool!

I also have one of the "Thompson Original" cassettes from Saudi Arabia - See pic below for version of Ten. Given the look & feel of it and that I bought it for dirt-cheap I just assumed it was a boot but a cool item to have nonetheless. Would love to have that Megastar one though!!!
