Awesome cassette Marc!! I remember another Bad Radio cassette that was sold on eBay awhile back with similar artwork but with a blue hue (maybe?). Do you know of the one I'm thinking of?

Yes, I remember that cassette vividly. It was sold in 2003 and I didn't place a bid because I wasn't sure that it was legitimate (I had NEVER seen anything like it before!!). This is one of only two items I regret not going after.

Anyway, the people at twofeetthick ended up buying that cassette and wrote an article on it here:http://www.twofeetthick.com/2003/06/eds-pre-pearl-jam-demo/.

If I remember right it went for "only" $500-$600!!! A steal today!

I'm sorry for disturbing the Bad Radio issue here but here are some good people who know a lot about old promo cassettes. So can anybody give me some info on about this cassette:

I believe this is a very special and rare cassette tape made by EV. From October 8, the day EV first arrived in Seattle, through October 23, 1990 Pearl Jam worked on their first demo tape. They recorded their demo tracks live to Digital Audio Tape (DAT). On the last day (10/23) EV dubbed several copies of their recorded songs onto cassette tapes to give to friends.

Improv. is early Yellow Ledbetter.
Weird A is a short instrumental. Not like Weird A on The Gossman Project.
Daddy is “Daddy Could Swear, I Declare” by Gladys Knight & the Pips (cover) believed to have been recorded prior to EV's arrival in Seattle.

I wish I could read what was written on the spine of the cassette and what’s on the inside of the J-card and cassette! Whoever has this cassette is very fortunate.

I think it’s cool that Pearl Jam performed their first live show on October 22, 1990, only two weeks after meeting for the first time!
