Just called a beverage store in our city, they have beer from all over the world, but, no dogfish head :(
Maybe we could order it there, but the least amount would be 1 palette
That is 40 CRATES of beer, and propably unaffordable.
What a shame!

What about sending two bottles in a poster tube?
if you wrap them tightly and stuff the whole tube with newspapers,
don't you think this should work?

I'd love the full bottle... but... Im not sure it would come home "complete"... it's very fragile...

maybe we can use pvc tube pipes... as some people use with posters...

i think emply bottles is more safe...
because they can sent by air mail...
because the customs...(smuggling)
and because taxes over alcoholic drinks...
thats why i came with that idea of empty bottles but lets try ...;)

I'm in Miami in January. And I will try to take some bottles back to the Netherlands when I go home again.

So I might have a few bottles left.

Does anyone know if it's allowed to take beer out of the USA to Europe in checked in luggage?

Never expected it so hard to get a bottle of beer... ;)
Now they are selling them on ebay and people are paying $ 100 or more for two bottles of Faithfull Ale...hilarious!
I really hope we find a way for us in Europe, empty or full!

The Faithfull Ale finally made it to Seattle today (Wednesday)! So far I have been able to get 15 bottles. I think I can get more by Friday if needed.

Now that I have the bottles in hand I can get an accurate shipping cost to European countries. I'm hoping I can find a way to send full bottles that doesn't cost too much but it might be necessary to send empty bottles to keep shipping costs reasonable. I can send empty bottles to those who prefer that of course. I should be able to have this figured out in the next couple of days.

The bottle is 750mL and similar in size to a bottle of wine. The bottom is wider than a standard poster tube so I will look for the best container to ship them in. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Please send me a message to let me know how many Faithfull Ale you would like so I can pick up some more bottles if needed.

surface mail will be so much cheaper then air..but might take 3 months..

and you could group all of them together and ship to europe then we sort them out from here.im willing to resend on..but again its going to cost loads.but maybe less then sending air mail from the states
