Hi,
I bought this promo from the same person who sold the amongst the waves promo a while ago (http://www.pjcollectors.com/detail.asp?id=1885). Now that I've received it, I have doubts whether it's real.

It's in a jewel case. The background on the cd is white (first thought something was glued on it, but it's a white cd). It has less logos on it, than the other better days promo. This one only has universal on it. The font used is kind of strange, so is the "Published by: eV Songs Unlimited (Ascap)" and monkeywrench isn't mentioned anywhere. The serial (UMUSIC 1690) used is similar to the one on the amongst the waves promo from the same seller. Makes me wonder about that promo as well, although that one looks more in line with the other ones.

My first impression was that it looked fake, but the more I look at it now, I'm not sure. The story of the other promo seemed legit ... What do you guys think?

if its the same seller as the atw i could be the real deal..the ten legs promo has a stickered disc...

I haven't had much luck in finding any others, but must admit I haven't tried very hard. I did ask one record store, but they said they don't have promos ... any tips on how and where to find them are welcome.

Great promo. Looks real to me too. Similar cat# like Holland Backspacer promos. Man I still need the UK promo. Anyone?
