Do you really want to do this? There are millions of compilations I think.

hundreds? you mean like radio play samplers? i'm confused as to the hundreds of items. what kind of items?

what about items like soundtracks? chicago cab, judgement night, cable guy (mike), into the wild (ed), etc.

or items where members appear? like the ed on the mike watt big train stuff, or mike on the almost famous stillwater stuff?

maybe some of this could be covered by a "miscellaneous" category. jmho, and i don't do the work of updating and maintaining the site, so take it for what it's worth. i have no idea what your concerns as webmasters are...

I think adding categories called "Albums Featuring PJ Tracks" and "Promos Featuring PJ Tracks" would cover it. There is really no need for subcategories.

I'm against it. Like I have already said. There are too much items. You can never list 50% of them. It's still quite hard to "complete" the Pearl Jam discography. There are still many many items left. So I would not like to list compilations. Who wants to do this can make another site. Just my two cents...

promo compilations? i'd vote no also. but what about original items where they appear like soundtracks and one-off side project type things? (chicago cab, mike watt, et al)?

Yes "PEARL JAM" items. To me compilations are no Pearl Jam items. These are radio/magazine promos or whatever. But you all can do that if you want. But it's too much I think.

I understand what you mean about the radio/magazine promos, but what about compilations like Sweet Relief (Crazy Mary) or Hot Stove, Cool Music, Vol. 1 (Bu$hleaguer Live) that feature tracks that are unavailable anywhere else? These should be documented because many collectors are interested in having every possible recording that was officially released. That's how I began my obsessive collecting habit.
