,,,, and I wanted to gather some opinions....

I noticed Bushleaguer posted pics of his newly purchased blue (congrats!), and posted them on the site. I compared your vinyl to mine and the diameter of each inner circle on the label are the same.

However, the one on the bay has different diameters. Notice on 'Lado B' the last circle (dent, ...I don't know what you would call it....inner groove??) goes well under the E. Vedder print and just above the last digit (9) of the serial #. Our vinyls have the last inner groove going through the 'Vedder' print, and well above the serial # (I tried to compare w/ ForeverDrunk's pic but he only has 'Lado' A' posted in the forum).

Does anyone have any thoughts concerning these differences? Are they negligible or do they indicate that the label may be tampered with?

Good eyes Jack! I compared the labels of my black Colombian LPs (both regular & promo) and the alignment is slightly different on all of them. It seems that the vertical alignment of these labels shifted slightly when they were cut. On 'Lado B' the last circle/groove does go below the E. Vedder printing but it is also much lower through the Pearl Jam printing at the top. The diameter of the rings are the same. I believe this is an authentic copy and a nice one at that! Oh, and this is the same seller who sold me my copy. It was a flawless transaction. He must have very good connections (I'm sure being in Mexico City helps). Congrats to whoever grabs it.

yeah i was thinking the same thing ....i think it's strange all this copies from mexico ...why??? i have some doubts

the problem is that no one of us have a copy from a lot of time ....i think that from jlf1000 is truly true for that "alfonso" sign on so we can make a confront with it ...also the translucent vinyl seems to be the same ....the veins in the vinyl seems to be identical ...i think it is difficult maybe impossible to do the same veins in the vinyl
