Ten BasketBall Picture LP - How to recognize the PIRATED one

I finally cathed on of the "new" PIRATED lps you can see on eBay.

I've taken some pictures to show some small differences:

1. Magenta ink on vinyl is clearer on the pirated version.


2. Front plastic black and white band print has very bad quality (top is the legit one)


3. Plastic folder also opens from the right side BUT without the semi circular cut


Please add any other differences you might find.

I wanted to help/warn people that they have bought a fake copy.

The printing of the fake is really bad:



The catalog number is grey (of the bad printing) and the PX too. It should be purple.

i was taking one fake too but the poor quality of band print stopped me, thanks for the other infos friends. In these period there are a lot of boot vinyls...the black circle is back again!

don't understand why all this fakes ....seems to be from europe ...so also about this item we have fakes ....be carefull

This is really helpfull, I bought one from one buyer, but when I see he was selling 8 others I didn´t complete the transaction... now with this info I can check I did the right thing

i suggest to put - if possible- this info in the site's homepage as the spfreaks.com site did for the Mellon collie fake lp (Smashing pumpkins greatest collectors site, even good for some other idea)

I bought and paid mine, but when I saw that he was listing one after other, I told him I want my money back.
There are other seller from Netherland, and all this offer free shipping and don´t use an actual picture of the item
