Live In Atlanta?

Postby tope » Fri Oct 17, 2008 5:02 am

Today I went on a pearl jam mission to see exactly what my local record stores have. Now of course I know exactly how much VINYL they have, cause yep, they know very well to call me if anything comes in, but I never really paid much attention to the cd's in there.

So I came accross a couple of things. One I thought was odd, I'd never seen it before (don't get too excited, remember, i don't usually look at CD's) It is a boxed set, 2 CD's titled "dissident - Live In Atlanta". 1994, catalogue number EPC 660291 -5 (Epic). I wasn't sure if it was a bonified Pearl Jam release or not? Bet one of you guys would know!

The other was an Even Flow CD single, white with some kind of door on it, track listings Even Flow, Dirty Frank and an Oceans Remix!!! Number on that was 34K 77934. Is this an official PJ release?

I might buy the CD single if it's authentic, if only to hear that Oceans remix! But I'm not much interested in the live in atlanta, so if anyone wants me to have a closer look pm me.

trying to keep myself busy so not to think about my lost vinyl - can you tell?

I did have a look on the discography for the "dissident" but didn't find it, mind you, I'm not really familiar with things yet so it may be there, forgive me if it is. Is there somewhere you guys have like a wishlist list?

Hope you guys are all good,
tope

So can I list my 7" I Got ID/Long Road on the discography? I can't see it on there anywhere. Found lots of those atlanta ones, and lots of the even flows too. Does anyone else have the I Got ID? And do you guys ONLY collect sealed stuff?

If your 7" isn't included in this section http://www.pjcollectors.com/subcategory.asp?id=170 you can send us the files for the upload.
Personally I collect PJ, if some items are saled is good but isn't a "Must be" for me.

a new Merk????.....have u checked in the right section as Mas said on pjcoll??

http://www.pjcollectors.com/subcategory.asp?id=170

about Even flow..this is Cdsingle section:

http://www.pjcollectors.com/subcategory.asp?id=93

and here is Even flow promotional cdsingle:

http://www.pjcollectors.com/subcategory.asp?id=99

this is even flow 7":

http://www.pjcollectors.com/subcategory.asp?id=9

and 7" even flow promo:

http://www.pjcollectors.com/subcategory.asp?id=55

and we have even flow cassette single too:

http://www.pjcollectors.com/subcategory.asp?id=143

Tope...i think pjcoll is very easy to use and consulting...everytime u need checking some cd or vinyl...go in his category(maxicd,cdalmbum,12",7" ..etc..) click on item u want see or control and u'll find all the info and pics about it...

about sealed stuff...i prefer a sealed cd/vinyl but it's not always possible...so...mint or ex condition can be good....but it's a just my personal opinion..

Yep, it's Merkinball! Just found it! Identified! such a good feeling to identify them for some reason.

And as I was lamenting with my bro today, he suddenly said to me, you guys may think I sold that LO2L. I swear man i didn't nor would I ever when I finally do get my hands on it. I hope it was only his wastrel point of view, but just in case, I'm really not into those selling places like ebay (which I can't even use anyway, no credit card). You won't find me selling stuff on there.

I want to add my vinyl to the lists! Can I?! Or do you only list one version of everything there is?

I'm glad to hear that not everything has to be sealed to be on here - I love to play my records!! I decided, apart from their album, I would try and focus on the songs I really love of Pearl Jam, hence the only 7" I have got so far, two of my most favourite songs. I have looked on the discography, did it come as a 12" does anyone know? Can't see that either.

Am I obsessed with PJ Vinyl? that is the question!

Also why is my copy of merkinball 7" in a blue paper sleeve with Epic written on it? Does that mean it was taken from a proper cover and swapped or did they ever come out like this? It looks just like the 7" from Vitalogy, except blue sleeve not red

http://www.pjcollectors.com/category.asp?id=6

-12" promo categ(i think it's quite complete..maybe surprises in next days..) at moment at very good point of reference:

http://www.pjcollectors.com/category.asp?id=7

Dissident is here (maxicd)..i think we have all versions...check 7" dissident...there's a vinyl:

http://www.pjcollectors.com/subcategory.asp?id=108

your merk copy is similar to these(alive promo spain or daughter philippines):

http://www.pjcollectors.com/detail.asp?id=385

http://www.pjcollectors.com/detail.asp?id=437

vinyl is always the same...but epic generally sleeves can change..u always must check serial on label to understand your version...

-about trade,sell...there's a specific topic...u can find trade list of other members...there's a orange box at top of the page...there are specific rules for this specific section...please read them...it's important..

viewforum.php?f=7

http://www.pjcollectors.com/detail.asp?id=1340

I have this one as well.
It might be the Jukebox version, without the title strip?
