I have watched this auction too and I was shocked as I saw the final price. I don't know why they bid so crazy on this. Maybe because of our picture from PJC.

The day this item was listed on ebay, a guy posted a link to this auction on the Message Pit. After that a whole conversation started about the Benaroya vinyl. The auction ended with 1960 visitors and a really high price.
Hmmm... the seller must be really happy...

That little bit of shrink wrap must be worth one hell of a lot of money, last unsealed one I saw went for under $400....

yeah...i think we 're just a little...insane......
i 've re-bought...some items in the past just to have a sealed version...( i 've a lot of double copies to sell....but thet're regular items...nothing special....)...now i prefer to loose an item...specially promos...if they are not mint...or...excellent....i really hate,4 example, a black promo copy with wears,scratches on cover,pen marks...it's terrible to see..i prefer loose it...not bid on the auction...

yeah,i have bena...naturally.....sealed!!!
i have bought it 3yeas ago...from another italian collector when he decided to sell his whole collection....we have been friend for a long time...and i have bought it for a very special price...200euro!!!!

but auction's price($800) can be crazy for a mint copy....not for a sealed copy...i have seen bena sealed for about $1000 5 or 6 times...

Never collected vinyl but this is one I should make an exception for, and perhaps that blue V's if it ever shows its ugly head again!!

I have two, both saled! I think Sam have 3 copies..

I guess everyone is aware that records (and cds) can be resealed. You buy the plastic and use a hairdryer to shrink it back to a seal.

When i shop at my local record store, all the cds are sealed, but when you go to the counter they open it up and insert the cd.

Simply because it is sealed does not mean it has never been opened!

Absolutly agreed, also in my city that happened! My two copied were one from 10C so 10C saled and one from the factory so... But about the cd I have to be agreed less for the one with stickers attached!

my copy has still the tenclub box ....i opened the 10c box only to see if it was there
