Posted: Fri May 16, 2008 5:32 amI noticed the eBay auction and nearly fainted. I've had one of those forever and never realized it was anything special. I checked out the link to twofeetthick and I'll just cut and paste what I emailed them.

I was just goofing on eBay and noticed how rare/expensive this cd is. I've had one since it was sent to me at the record store I ran a long time ago. Mine is REALLY strange though. I remember getting it well AFTER the album was released and the cd inside looks just like a regular cd. It's not a cd-r. The only weird thing I notice is a strange "stamp" on the spindle that reads CMU P 106. It has Eddie Vedder's autograph and he drew a basketball next to his name. It also has the green marker scheme.
I'm guessing someone found a few autographed sleeves at Sony but there were no cd-r's left and they just sent it to me with a regular cd in its place. The store I ran was The Alternative Record Store in Tampa, FL and it was a very well-known store. We received LOADS of goodies all the time so it's not really all that weird that they'd send me something like this. Honestly I never realized I had anything of value until tonight. Would you like some pics?
