I'd be more than happy to share these awesome songs as long as it is a lossless format. I'm sending a few copies to trusted friends and collectors around the world. If anyone has any ideas or can host these tracks let me know. I know you guys are dying to hear the unreleased tracks... 8-)

I can do a secure/accurate rip using EAC and share them in FLAC. Just pick a torrent site. Any other suggestions? If you don't want them shared en masse via torrent, then maybe FTP or something? I'd be willing to do B+P's. Sam, you're the man, just let me know what I can do!

I tend to agree. I'm not doing anything unless/until it's ok'd.

We are spoken about some early versions of some songs...when I told "not for the mass" i mean that can be dangerous if this files goes in the wrong hands...someone that can produce boot and sell it..

of course you are right but i think it's impossible to know all the people that can have it from internet
you should take it only for you to avoid it

First of all: I think that Sam must have the last word on it.

my opinion: now i have the possibility to ear I'm Still Here, or others the xmas singles songs (for who don't have the vinyl player), i don't know how this song is on the web but i thank the man or the woman that ripped it. I thank all the guys that uploaded the official boots, i don't have the possibility to buy all the shows.
If this rarities cd is only on Sam's hands 8and exists only one copy) to be sure that they will never be here on the web he don't have to copy this cd. There will be someone that will try to sell them as they did in the past and present with live shows bootlegs. The other way is to spred and send to all pearl jam's sites, in this way (if we all have it) no one will buy it, if everybody can download for free. Sorry for this long text.

Well, I don't have it. I was just offering my services if needed ;)

On another note, is "I'm Still Here" available in lossless?

Hmm... this turned out to be quite an interesting discussion. My feeling is that these songs should be available to anyone who is interested but only in the best possible quality (CD-R, FLAC, etc.). I can rip the tracks using EAC but I cannot host these files nor do I want to. I own the rarities disc but I certainly do not own the songs. This is unreleased Pearl Jam material and I do not know the bands feelings in this matter. Nevertheless, I say let's open the floodgates and get these songs out! This is some really cool stuff!!! Copies of these discs are being mailed out hopefully tomorrow to friends and collectors around the world and I think that anyone who is interested can get a copy. As far as distributing these tracks over the internet, I think a torrent containing FLAC files would be best. The website pj.sidewalkcrusaders.com might be an appropriate place unless anyone else has a better suggestion. As long as these songs are available to everyone who is interested, the chance of someone trying to sell these tracks in any form will be eliminated.

Keeping you all in suspense (except for Norman),

Sam
