I'm still not 100% sure, but the person I bought it from assumed it was a promo/advance release because it came from someone in the music/radio industry along with many other promos. It is also possible it was intended for display use only and similar to these releases:

The Austrian Yield Display did include the CD, but Sony may have decided not to include a disc with the more recent ones.. Again, I'm just speculating.

You're right, all of you are right.... I spend lot of money for this DVD, I know is crazy but is a try....if all of you are lucky this DVD will come back again and is possible that is not so rare as can be... but if this DVD don't surface anymore I got it...I always thought that I have to have the promo DVD from the Italian DVD...and when I saw it I didn't thought but bid.

Anyway Norman, this world start to be too crazy for me, like posters collection and I'm thinking to stop my collecting, as already spoked, when some good raritites will come on ebay there are a fight..not for me..

But i don't know,this is first time from my first day on ebay (over 2 years ago) i see this brasilian promo;anyway who already has this cd here except our friend Sam?
Probably the right price for this promo could be about 200 euro,if you consider that other black promo (that with cover black&white) not rare like this,every time is on bid,close at about 150 euro.
I'm agree with massimo & norman,the pearl jam world collector starting to be crazy,but what we can do?every rare item on ebay is a fight between us;the winner is always that has more money to spend.
In every collection there are always some items more rare than others,probably this jeremy is one of these.
Like i have seen in other websites collectors,we could have here a section dedicated to rare items;which are the first 100 pearl jam rare items?who better than us can write this chart?

if you look on ebay some of the rare (not rarest) item will start with a very hight start price (Like this brasilian). Currently there's a nice promo not so common that have an absurd start price but I'm sure someone around the world would spend this money (as I done with the promo DVD) and the next seller have this auction as reference... I think there's no way... who sells isn't collectors but seller so don't care about the real worth but care to get more money as he can..

I noticed that almost everything on ebay can be selled at the price you prefer
I know a sellers from my city that tries everytime to sell pearl jam lps at absurd prices. he don't care cause he tries for month and month and at the end he maneges to sell at his price, not a common price.

There exists a list with some ebay final prices and the medium price... this MUST be enought for everybody...

I think so, we can have an idea but if we list the rarest then the starting price will become more absurd.

i am talking about "normal" items like versus usa version lp or so on ...but there is no problem
everyone can decide to being part of it or not ...it's a personal choise
