Lightning Bolt Vinyl

Apparently, all the Lightning Bolt options for buying the vinyl on the 10c store and Amazon have been removed. Some people are saying there is a flaw in the pressing and they've pulled them all from stock. No word if there will be a second press or not. I'm guessing there will be. We'll see if/when the 10c makes any sort of announcement about this.

i just noticed that as well. i was unaware of a pressing issue though.

It has come to our attention that there have been some manufacturing issues with the Lightning Bolt vinyl possibly due to the high quality and delicate nature of the special packaging.

If you are in receipt of an album that you feel may be defective in some manner, please send an email to UMG Customer service at: fisherscustsvc@umusic.com indicating the specific issue with your copy.

Replacement vinyl will begin shipping out early next week to all those affected by this issue.

I purchased 3 copies of LB, 2 from 10c and one from Easy Street Records, all of which are defective. Today I sent my email to UMG customer service to get these replaced.

If anyone is up for a trade for an open US version (assuming that I'll have both the defective AND replacement copy) for a EU version, let me know...

Looks like it's a hit and miss, not all are screw up but it seems like it's common...

they answered me this: "Most likely, since it was sent on 10/14, it may be the defective vinyl. Please send your complete name, mailing address and phone number to the customer service box, and we will send replacement."
