Well the topic name says it all.
But I was wondering how I can make sure if a boot is European or US made.
One thing I did notice is that the Euro version has a sleightly wider spine. So the title of the boot fits properly.

I couldn't find a topic that had an answer to my question so I went ahead and opend a new one sorry if I missed it while looking.

Hi
If you are talking about the 2000 boots, there is different serial numbers, these can only be found on the disc in the inner ring, the 2003 boots are us release, but some of them where also released elsewhere, these have a serial on the spine, the 08-11 is only 10c releases, so there are US

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I was just wondering about the 2000 serie.
You mention that the numbers are different. Different how?
I need some info that will help me determin if an auction is for a European or an American version.
What I came up with is the spine and the color. Both are difficult to see on a picture.
I need something concreet I can ask a seller.

In the 2000 series the only difference I know of is tyhe serial number on the disc, it's on the blank side (the side that is downward when you play it) on the inner circle

If I am right the US pressed bootlegs have a DIPD number on the inner ring of the CD. The bootlegs pressed in Europe have s long number on the inner ring.

I think there are two differences.

The DIDP number on the inner ring of the US pressed cds compared to the catalog number on the EU pressed cds (like Norman noted).

and

On the colored side of the cd there are small writings:

US pressings: Manufactured by ... PO Box 3000 Carrollton, GA 30117
EU pressings: Manufactured by ... PO Box 3000 Carrollton, GA 30117... BIEM LC00199

For example, check the 2000 06 29 - Oslo, Norway #25 cds. Look closely on the small silver colored letters of the EU and US pressed cds
