I've been visiting this site for a long while but this is the first time I have posted. I am amazed at all the hard work that has been put into this site - and also jealous of the variety of collections.

I recently acquired a Ten test pressing but I am not sure which version it is. My guess is that it will be the Simply Vinyl version but I will post some pics when it gets here. I bought it though a guy who was getting rid of his record collection and it's currently in the mail. Has anyone else been able to track down any Pearl Jam test pressings? Does anyone have an idea of what's out there? The only one that I can recall seeing on ebay is the Live at Soldier FIeld.

check our database in the promotional lp category..and another couple of items can be found iin the Temple of the dog, Mother love bone & Green river category..
it's a very strange thing..it seems there are not so many pj's TP out there..

Went through the list of the promotional items for Pearl Jam and it looks like this is what is out there:

Ten 12" (Simply Vinyl version)
Merkinball 7"
Fixer 7"

Does anyone know how many copies of each of these are floating around?

impossible to determinate..but sadly, always few copies...

It looks like there is a Backspacer test press out there too!

So this is the new list:

Ten 12" (Simply Vinyl version)
Backspacer 12"
Merkinball 7"

of course these are the only tp we saw with our own eyes..but obviously there's a tp for every each vinyl posted in the discography......so...

I got the Simply Vinyl version of the Ten test pressing (SVLP 0068), it feels really heavy too so it might be the 180 gram version. If you look in the deadwax of side A it reads "SVLP 0068 A1-1-1" and on "SVLP 0068 B1-1-1" on side B. Does anyone know what is written in the deadwax for the 125g, 160g and 180g of the Simply Vinyl versions of Ten?

Anyways here is a pic:

all my simply vinyl versions are sealed but i think they have a slight different scratched matrix..
it's probably that u bought the 180gr. TP..
