Does anyone have any info on this no code version?

'My No Codeis a U.S. version, but I don't know if it is a record club issue. The center hub is clear, so it is missing the "YES" and "NO" printed in red.

Matrix: DIDP-090466 F3 2A 04
Inner Ring: IFPI L423
Plastic Hub: IFPI 5100

anyone seen one of these and can confirm if its from the BMG club?

Paul,
Your disc is the first US No Code pressing. I have the same disc and I bought mine the first week it was released at retail. Mine also doesn't have the YES NO GOOD BAD center. But with over half a million of these made I don't think you can consider this pressing rare. ;)

The second US No Code pressing has the matrix DIDP-090466 F3 2A 65. This is the pressing that is listed on pjcollectors for the US No Code cd and has the YES NO GOOD BAD center. I don't think this is rare either.

So perhaps the second pressing was used for the BMG release but we won't know until we track one down. I am confident that the BMG release will have the BMG info on the back.

I'm pretty sure that my No Code is from BMG, but it doesn't have any "special" tag or something else to make it different from the normal one. I got mine back in 2005 when all my CDs were stolen... and that's why I'm not into CDs Dave, I'm traumatized!

we use to list bgm press separately..there are many example on pjc...ten,vs,vitalogy..
about the cds story..Jos...
i cant imagine your "pain"..

but the great part of cool items are in the cd category....sadly (or luckly for our pockets) pj have a little vinyl discography compared to other artists...

After doing more research, I have discovered that there are many different pressings for the US No Code cd. Some other matrix numbers I have discovered are:

EK-67500 F3 24 08 (has DIDP 090466 printed on front of disc)
DIDP-090466 8 (printed backwards!)
DIDP-090466 F3 2A 15

All of these have the red center with YES NO GOOD BAD printed so the only printing so far without the red center is DIDP-090466 F3 2A 04.

Feel free to add your matrix if it's different.

Interesting info!! Marc, check the front of the disc that has F3 2A 15 and you should find... made at S.M.C. How a boot that! 8-)

And I have another one with the YES NO GOOD BAD: DIDP-090466 F3 2A 60 (DIDP 090466 printed on front of disc).

One thing I noticed on the version missing the YES NO GOOD BAD is that the silver text is printed INSIDE the first black ring where all the symbols are. All my other copies have the printing outside the ring...

I do have a copy of No Code that I purchased from BMG Direct right before they stopped the club. It is still sealed so I don't know what the CD looks like, but I can confirm that the case is identical to the regular US version and does not make any reference to BMG whatsoever. There is a barcode sticker on the plastic that is different from any I've seen before. I'll make a scan of it as soon as I get a chance.
