Why the Hell are the boots of 2003 so fuckin' rare on ebay?
Are there so many less than them of 2000???

Everything you see is Perth, Tokio, Tokio, Perth, Perth, Tokio, Tokio, Perth...
And if there are others they are so damn expensive!

Can anybody explain why???

Only a few of the 2003 bootlegs were released to retail stores...including Perth and Tokyo.

The rest were only available on the PJ website.

Contrast that to the 2000 bootlegs, which all were released to retail stores.

The 2003 boots were also only available for a limited time after the shows unlike the 2000 boots - it was only weeks. So far few less were produced.

Worth noting however that last week a set went on ebay for less than $1000 - thats only $12 each and less than cost. Buy them seperately and they are hidesously expensive, especially the mexican ones which are widely regarded as the rarest - and some say the best!!

Always make sure you get the stickers too, many are now lost

many thanks for answering, that explains pretty much. I wasn' aware of that.
Okay, now I know that I definitely began too late with collecting,
but, that keeps the whole thing even more tensious...

Was there a sticker with every cd?

strange, never have seen one, although I got some so far,
Do you mean something like the dissident 3 cd release from UK, where you had to put the stickers on yourself?
or does this mean that they are not original if the setlists are printed on the cardboard directly?

The 3rd disc of the New York concert from July, 8th says it would be 3rd of Mansfield, July 11th.

Alas, that's not true, it plays the NY show.
Do you know if this is the case in all NY concerts?

yes the stickers are just like those, but the retail versions i.e. tokyo/perth etc are printed on the cardboard....only the ones sold via tenclub had the stickers, and that included perth and tokyo etc

i wasnt aware of the error on the NY Cd will check mine

Yes, my retail release of that NY show has the wrong date, too.. I think many copies had this misprint.

This thread shows that there are a lot of PJ boots addicted, just like me :)
I bought the entire 2003 set, buying them from many sellers on ebay.. I scored some ones for a cheap price, but other not very cheap.. The Mexico #73 last of the series, costed me more than $100
Of course I have all the 2000 and 2008 ones too.. and I'm obviously sure that there are others people like me, here, that are awaiting for that 2009 bootlegs box set that Ten Club spoke about..
About the stickers, be aware that the Aus/Jap ones didn't have the setlist stickers, only the spine sticker ;)
