seems many do not understand the significance of this 'item'.

Sam once put it in a nutshell in emails to me 'its the jewel in the crown of any PJ collection'.

To be fair I have to agree with him, merely for the history on the item.

Hell I was tempted to go for this one myself when the bidding was much lower as it is the other variant to the one I have but funds would not get near that at this present time. Priorities must be had at times, and family comes first.

still, if the funds are there, then yeah this item is a winner

ok, I am new in this context . even though I collect records and CDs of PJ by ERA TEN. probably I never dwelt on the contours and have always focused on what, physically, knew the common people.
fits which is considered the HOLY Grail of PJ, but I would like to understand exactly what is, why spend $ 2000/2800 .
excuse my ignorance at the time.

The Reeenk roink was produced in very small quantities before Ten was released by the band and distributed themselves to radio DJ's etc with them writing their own custom sleeves. Only a handful have eversurfaced, and perhaps 25 are known to still be kicking around. That makes it a highly desirable and hihgly treasured item.

The money is down to supply and demand, there are many collectors around the world - not just we people on here, and everyone of those wants the item for their own collection.

Yeah Sony made the disc so I would think the band had already signed a record deal, so they were just promoting themselves for free.... i dont think they will have needed the $5 here and there.....They saw the big bucks coming i think
