Thats a great idea Norman, car hire is a matter of 30 quid a day or so, you only need it 2 days, 15 quid each for 4 travelling - ease of travel, door to door, and no messing about with tubes, taxis and trains....easily the most effective means of travel and most flexible

Thanks for the advice Fabien. I need one night from 16.08. to 17.08. I will check this hotel. The night between Manchester and London I will go with the bus that PJ fans will organize. Check the PJ board on pearljam.com

Hey friends, I booked two flights wit RyanAir: Berlin ---> Dusseldorf and Dusseldorf ---> Manchester for a total of 47€ on the sunday 16th of august.

Is this also with RyanAir? How do I get the best way from the airport to the arena (hotel will be very near)?

I have to find this flight. There is also a late flight from Berlin to East Midlands. But it's late but only 42 Euro.

the east midlands flight is Ryanair, but it cost me a lot more because I am taking my little monster with me,....

the flights were £20 return, total cost...over £250.....£40 fucking quid to take a bag along the way, and 20 quid each to check in!!! no online checking in becausen I have an infant....unreal, but I dont care I'm seeing PJ ;)

Norman getting from East Midlands is easy to manchester, there is a train direct, just worried about the time of night the plane lands. I would defo suggest hiring a car at the airport - one that you can leave in manchester - should cost you no more than 30 pounds and give you total flexibility
